Chetana’s strength is its team. The team consists of 14 women from different walks of life, who are bound together by a common focus, of giving back to a society from which they have received so much.

The NGO has no office bearers or official titles. Each woman contributes her particular skills to the organisation. Some are good at dealing with patients, others are good at accounts, and some do well at fund raising.

Chetana does not induct members easily. It demands a high level of commitment and a large contribution only in terms of time. This is why it manages to be very effective, despite being relatively small.
